Claremont Canyon: A How-to

Claremont Canyon is a notoriously steep .6 mile hike near the UC–Berkeley campus. But, if you follow these easy steps, you are sure to emerge victorious.

Step 1. Start walking uphill.

Step 2. Keep walking uphill. Enjoy the view while you catch your breath!

Step 3. Just keep taking breaks. Sure, it’s basically a cliff you’re climbing, but did you see the view?

Step 4. Take longer breaks if you need to, there’s no shame. It’s a lot of view to take in in just a short break, you know? Do you need more water?

Step 5. Climb back down and get yourself a dang michelada. You deserve it, you frigging champion.
